Since I was a kid, I’ve loved capturing stories through pictures, drawings, and my early films when I first got my hands on a camera. I’ve always felt a pull toward cinema, drawn in by the magic of how a simple frame can tell a whole story and evoke feelings. Even snapping a photo felt like freezing a moment that I could look back on and remember.

Education:

University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)

B.A. in Visual & Performing Arts – Film Minor in Digital Cinematography and Media Studies

Graduation Date: May 15, 2026

Through my degree, I developed a strong foundation in narrative structure, film theory, media literacy, and hands-on production. My minor strengthened my technical training in camera operation, lighting design, and cinematic visual language.

Technical & Creative Focus:

I have experience working across multiple production roles, including Producer, Director of Photography, First AC, Second AC, Gaffer, Grip, Sound recordist, Assistant Director, and Editor. This range allows me to approach projects with both creative vision and practical set awareness.

My approach emphasizes:

Character-driven narratives
Practical effects and in-camera techniques to create immersive, tangible visuals
Stylized lighting to heighten mood and psychological depth

I believe technical execution should always support story and performance.

Career Direction:

As I transition from academic production into the professional industry, I am seeking opportunities in cinematography, camera department, and collaborative production environments where I can continue refining my craft while contributing to story-driven projects.
